Prostate Cancer

This is a leading form of cancer among the males. The disease is developed in the prostate gland present in the male reproductive system. The cancer is prominent among males aged over 50 years. The common form of treatment for these cancers include Radiation therapy, Surgery, and Hormonal therapy. The first two therapies completely eliminate the infected prostate cells.

Lung Cancer

This diseases is prevalent among smokers. The diseases occurs due to uncontrolled multiplication of cells in the one or both the lungs. The area of infection starts in the air passages and slowly spreads to the remaining area of lungs. There are various therapies available for treating lung cancer, the effective among them include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy.

Thyroid Cancer

This gland is located a little above trachea. It is responsible for producing thyroxin — a hormone responsible for regulating metabolism. Thyroid problems are common among women. In this cancer, nodules start building in the thyroid gland, and they eventually block the airway. The most common and effective treatment used for treating this include Radioactive Iodine Therapy or RAI.

Ovarian Cancer

The second-most common cancer among the females, this disease causes ovarian tumours. The exact cause of ovarian cancer is unknown. However, common forms of cancer include chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
