Oxford Shoes

Originated in Scotland and Ireland, Oxford shoes are laced shoes categorized by shoelace outlet tabs which gets stitched underneath the vamp. Initially, Oxford shoes were plain and made out of leather, but these days it comes with many motifs and in different colors. Oxford shoes are highly suitable for formal occasions and they give you an elegant feel. These shoes accorded with a finely tailored look will give you that complete look.

Monk Strap

Monk strap shoes do not have laces and it is closed by buckle and strap. In terms of looks, monk strap falls between oxford shoes and derby shoes. Monk straps shoes for men come with either one strap or two straps. There is no hard and fast rule while selecting the number of straps, but as tip we would suggest, bigger the guy, more the straps, and thinner the guy, lesser the straps.

Derby Shoes

Derby shoes come with shoelace eyelets tabs, which are sewed on top of a single-piece vamp. These shoes are not considered as formal as oxford shoes. The open lace pattern of the shoes allows the shoes to open much wider which makes it easier to put on. Derby shoes are arguably considered as the definition of “business casual”.
